This Classic Chai Tea recipe blends aromatic spices with tea and milk, creating a warm and comforting beverage perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1-2 tea bags (black tea)
  • 1-2 tbsp of sugar (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp of ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cloves

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Saucepan
  • Strainer
  • Teacup
  • Measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  • Add the ground ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves to the boiling water.
  • Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the spices.
  • Add the tea bags and let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste preference.
  • Stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  • Pour in 1 cup of milk and heat until just below boiling, stirring occasionally.
