Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of chopped onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Loaf pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Oven
  • Measuring cups
  • Knife

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, chopped onions, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and thyme.
  • Mix all ingredients together until well combined but do not overmix.
  • Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Spread a little extra ketchup on top of the meatloaf if desired.
  • Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 60-75 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
