Ingredients:

  • 100g of mozzarella cheese
  • 50g of all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 100g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Deep fryer or frying pan
  • Tongs
  • Serving plate

Instructions:

  • Preheat your deep fryer or a frying pan with about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • While the oil is heating, cut the mozzarella cheese into sticks about 1 cm wide.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg until frothy and set aside.
  • On a plate, combine the flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove with tongs and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
