Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup

Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, soak the bread in milk until soft. Tear into pieces and add to the ground beef along with the egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  • Shape the beef mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan. Wrap the bacon slices around the meatloaf, covering it completely.
  • Spread ketchup on top of the bacon-wrapped meatloaf for added flavor.
  • Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  • Once cooked, let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
