Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 100g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 100g of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 50g of ketchup for topping

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Loaf pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Grater
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Italian seasoning, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Spread ketchup on top of the meatloaf and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over it.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve.
