Mushroom Meatloaf combines the hearty flavors of ground beef with the earthy richness of finely chopped mushrooms. This recipe is a delicious way to sneak in some veggies while keeping the classic meatloaf texture.

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped mushrooms, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, milk, and parsley. Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  • Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 60-75 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
  • Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
