Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 100g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 50g of milk
  • 100g of ketchup
  • 50g of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to create the glaze.
  • Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 60-75 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  • Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
