These Baked Meatballs are made with ground beef and flavored with garlic, oregano, and Parmesan cheese, then baked to perfection. They are delicious on their own or served with marinara sauce for a classic Italian-inspired meal.

Ingredients:

  • 300g of ground beef
  • 50g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 100g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g of marinara sauce
  • Basil leaves for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Mix the ingredients together until well combined, but do not overmix.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, each about the size of a golf ball.
  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
  • While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Once the meatballs are done, serve them hot drizzled with marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
