Classic Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients:
- 100g of spaghetti
- 200g of ground beef
- 50g of bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 50g of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 400g of canned tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Pepper to taste
- Basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:
- Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
- In a large pan, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the canned tomatoes, and add oregano. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 20 minutes, allowing the meatballs to cook through.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked and drained, add it to the pan with the sauce and meatballs. Toss gently to combine.
- Serve spaghetti and meatballs on a plate, garnished with fresh basil leaves and additional Parmesan if desired.
