Ingredients:

  • 500g beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 4 small corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:

  • Season the beef chuck roast with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper on all sides.
  • Place the seasoned beef in a slow cooker. Pour the apple cider vinegar and beef broth over the meat.
  • Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the meat is tender and shreds easily.
  • Once cooked, shred the beef using two forks directly in the slow cooker and mix it with the juices.
  • Warm the corn tortillas in a pan or microwave until pliable.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing a generous amount of shredded beef on each tortilla.
  • Top with diced onion and chopped cilantro.
  • Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
