Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 50g of fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 50g of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 15g of fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • mixing bowl

  • cutting board

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until well blended and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pan, tilting to ensure even distribution.
  • As the eggs start to set, sprinkle the diced mozzarella and cherry tomatoes on one half of the omelet.
  • Add the chopped basil on top of the ingredients.
  • Once the eggs are mostly cooked, fold the omelet in half to cover the filling and let it cook for an additional minute.
  • Carefully slide the omelet onto a plate and serve immediately.
