Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 100g of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 50g of breadcrumbs
  • 50ml of milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Loaf Pan
  • Measuring Cups
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, grated cheddar cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients until well combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Spread the ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for added flavor and moisture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 60-70 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through with an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
  • Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with your choice of sides.
