Italian Meatloaf is a delicious twist on the classic dish, incorporating Italian flavors with the richness of beef, cheese, and herbs. It's a hearty meal that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 100g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 50g of parmesan cheese, grated
  • 100g of mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 100g of tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • mixing bowl
  • loaf pan
  • measuring cups and spoons
  • knife

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, grated parmesan cheese, diced mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix all the ingredients until they are well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 70-80 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve hot with your favorite sides.
