Savory Turkey Meatloaf is a healthier alternative to traditional meatloaf, made with ground turkey and packed with flavor. This dish is perfect for family dinners and provides a comforting, nutritious meal.

Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top of the meatloaf for added flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
