Classic Mozzarella Sticks are a deliciously gooey appetizer that’s perfect for snacking or entertaining. These crispy, golden-brown sticks are coated in a flavorful breading and served with marinara sauce for dipping. With their stretchy cheese interior and crunchy exterior, they're sure to be a hit!

Ingredients:

  • 200g of mozzarella cheese
  • 100g of all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 150g of bread crumbs
  • 50g of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl
  • frying pan
  • tongs
  • cheese grater

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oil in a deep frying pan to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cut the mozzarella cheese into 12 sticks of equal size.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
  • In a third bowl, combine bread crumbs and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Coat each mozzarella stick in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the bread crumb mixture.
  • Place the coated cheese sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes to firm them up.
  • Once firm, carefully place the mozzarella sticks into the hot oil. Fry them in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the sticks with tongs and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
