Ingredients:

  • 200g of cooked lentils
  • 50g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 50g of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 100g of marinara sauce for serving

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking tray
  • Oven
  • Knife
  • Chopping board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked lentils, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried herbs, and olive oil.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper, and mix well until everything is combined.
  • Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
