Ingredients:

  • 250g of Italian sausage
  • 50g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 50g of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 150ml of marinara sauce
  • 50g of mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  • While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a frying pan over medium heat until warm.
  • Once the meatballs are done, add them to the sauce and stir gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and allow it to melt for a few minutes before serving.
