Pesto Meatballs

Pesto Meatballs offer a delightful twist on traditional meatballs by incorporating pesto, which adds a fresh, herby flavor. They are perfect as an appetizer, main course, or served over pasta.

Ingredients:
- 250g of ground beef
- 2 tablespoons of pesto
- 50g of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 egg
- 50g of breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- fresh basil for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, pesto, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In the meantime, heat a frying pan over medium heat. Once the meatballs are done baking, transfer them to the pan to sear for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve the meatballs garnished with fresh basil.
