- 100g of carrots, sliced
- 100g of potatoes, diced
- 50g of celery, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 250ml of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
